Jack Darling Main Dog Park

Jack Darling leash free zone has been restored to its original boundaries, and boasts a full 22 acres for you and your dog to explore together. Peel Region has spared no expense in designing, developing and building this “living roof” on the existing water reservoir and treatment plants. Chain link fencing secures the perimeter, encloses the draining area, and separates the toboggan hill in the winter months. The hill has been terraced limestone paved pathways and solid cement boundary slabs that double as park seating. New foliage fills the fields and desired pathways are already taking shape. A water tap at the top of the hill is available for fresh drinking water for your dog. A terrific park to enjoy while exercising your best friend!

Jack Darling Small Dog (Under 25 lbs) Park

Located immediately west of the Jack Darling leash free zone main parking lot, it is the newest park to be created. A unique park for the little ones under 25 lbs. An ideal place to learn to socialize and play outside in a totally secure, fully chain link fenced area. No big dogs or big puppies over 25 lbs. A park for Tea Cups and Toy Breeds of all ages. Here your little one can safely wander around quietly enjoying the park or join in a group game of “chase the leader”. The park has both a small flat area for throwing balls plus a small wooded area for a quick two minute walk. Our little ones get plenty of exercise through group play. Enough foliage shade in the summer and regularly maintained throughout the year by both the City Park staff and our own park volunteers.
